I adore sketchbooks. All drawings are from life, usually done very quickly, just a few seconds for the quick gestures and maybe 3-5 minutes for more detailed stuff, but they are seldom longer than 10 - 15 minutes. There's nothing more compelling to me than the stories of the people all around us every day.
