100 Poses Based on a Childhood Experience
I had the pleasure of participating in the Brainstorm class taught by Stephanie Stine for the past 5 weeks. These were for an assignment to draw 100 poses to tell the story of a childhood trauma/joy. In my case, this was the story of a hot day at age 7 when I decided to go for a bike ride, and it has affected me every day of my life since. I cannot recommend taking Stephanie's class, whatever class she teaches, highly enough! #stormshare

Childhood Memory: Beat Boards
I'm taking a fantastic 'Drawing for Feature Animation Storyboards' class taught by Stephanie Stine via https://www.brainstormschool.com/ I can't say enough good things about this class, and I'm very glad I signed up. This week's homework was to do a series of panels based on a childhood memory. I chose a day spent at Marine World when I was about 10.

Boss Baby: Back in the Crib Thumbnail Pass
Almost without exception, I prefer the thumbnail pass to the final. It's the relaxed energy of the process before you overthink anything. This was one of those dreaded 'Lazy Susan Camera' sequences with a 'Deer Hunter Russian Roulette' vibe. Lots of fun but also challenging!
